B+E Trailer Towing lessons in Exeter with Mike Ashton DSA-ADI
If you passed your car driving test after January 1997, then before you can tow large heavy trailers where the gross combined weight exceeds 3.5 tons you will need to pass a B+E driving test.
The intensive B+E training I can offer you, follows the LGV syllabus. Before I became a driving instructor I owned, operated, employed and drove LGV's for 17 years gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience about LGH's, tachographs, E.U drivers hours, UK Domestic Rules and special vehicle exemptions.
In addition to discussing with you I will teach you how to hitch up and un-couple a trailer safely. We will practice doing the emergency braking exercise. I will teach you to reverse safely and confidently for the test. You will be taught to carry out daily walk-around safety checks. You will learn how to avoid a snaking trailer. You will learn about safe loading and securing of loads. You will learn the routes used by the DSA examiners in Exeter and the most common mistakes made by other students. |
